## Caption

Juliette balconies are beautiful period features in many Victorian and Georgian homes but they often leave an awkward space in front of the French windows which results in unusable space. On one of current Grade II listed Victorian houses, we’re currently exploring ways to make the best use of this space. We’ve redesigned the balcony to become curved, allowing space for the French windows to open outwards. Inside a gently wrapped banquette bench maintains views through and creates a cosy nook to have a coffee and enjoy the views of the streetscape outside.
