As the day winds down and the sun begins to set, elephants make their way to the water to bathe and drink, taking advantage of the cooler temperatures. These wise creatures know how to avoid the harsh sun, making the most of the serene twilight hours. Did you know that an adult elephant can drink up to 200 liters (52 gallons) of water in a single day? They usually drink multiple times throughout the day, but the evening is one of their favorite moments.

Here’s an interesting fact: while elephants drink several times daily, they can survive without water for up to 3-4 days if necessary. However, they much prefer to stay hydrated, especially after a long, hot day.
