For those San people ressources are scarce. Making a fire is an art… and a necessity. Those hunters set the bush on fire so that new green grass can grow again. Why do they need greener grass in their hunting ground? They hope this will attract more game. The fire is a regenerating process. It will not kill the roots but just the dead and dry grass.
