SCRATCH THE SURFACE
Dig in and see what’s underneath.
Under the dry crust, there is a lot of thick mud.
We were the first ones of the season to reach South Island. According to some locals, it was too early.
So what was really lying under this crust, you want to know? Fun, lots of fun!
Being behind Matthias lostreception.eu was even more fun to watch.
Having a heavier vehicle than Matthias meant also that I was digging deeper. Speed actually makes a car lighter. But this can be tricky. You don’t want to enter thick thick mud at full speed. So you need to find the sweet spot.
