THE RESEARCHER & THE LANDY
I met Aobakwe Sengate aobakwe.sen_gate and his landy in Moremi. His job, getting footage from the trophy cam to study carnivores of Moremi.
They are mainly studying the African Wild Dog but not only. They include in their study lions, leopards and hyenas.
Aobakwe told me that they are 12 packs of wild dogs in Moremi… but they follow them up to Savuti and all around Moremi covering a huge area as they move freely.
He is patrolling the reserve in his opened Land Rover Defender going from one camera trap to another.
I think they look both so cool.
Is this the best job in the World?
