When you plan an experiment or interview, 
You look at peer reviewed reputable sources, look at many angles and form a conclusion based on actual evidence

Although that is seen as the research mindset, shouldn’t that be applied to life in general?

A friend tells you info about something, 
You read something on the news, 

The same process we use in our PhD is an incredible way to approach life in general.

We spend years learning not to assume and to infer based on evidence, this is a reminder to take that approach 

Outside the lab
Outside the office 

And into the real world! Trust me it makes life so much better.
