PhD Viva Tip : Remove the Jargon! 

One of the best ways to efficiently and eloquently explain your PhD thesis is to speak to a non specialist someone who is not even in the field.

You have to then take extra care in how you talk, what you say and you’ll realise is such a vital skill. 

I am firm believer one of the true markers a person really understands something is to be able to explain to anyone in any format. From speaking to profs to a non researcher in a coffee shop.

Practice this speak to your non science friends and it will in turn help you with you actual viva
