My name is Mari V. Fallat. I am an artist living and working in Los Angeles, California, as well as in Kaliningrad ( Königsberg )and Moscow, Russia. 

  My art work explores feminine’s energy and the history of women around the world — the woman as muse, lover, and mother; sexuality, sensuality, the many shades of love and emotion, and the light and shadow of human nature. I am inspired by dreams, rituals, the masks people wear, the games people play, and the dreams that pass through the filter of the subconscious, transforming into symbols.  My inspiration also comes from the beauty of natural femininity and masculinity, from the rituals that shape our world, from deep sexuality, and from the illusory nature of reality — the stage on which we play endless roles in search of our true selves.

Through my art, I am to capture subtle states of being and liberation from illusions, engaging gracefully with the viewer’s imagination.

My paintings, scatches, drawings are, above all, a play with symbols — a way through which feminine energy reveals itself as an intuitive and mystical force. I work in acrylic, drawing, collage, and mixed media to create images that immerse the viewer in a space between reality and dream.
Motifs such as the Geisha, masks, the color red, the black cat, chess, and archetypal symbols are not simply images, but archetypes through which I explore themes of love, sexuality, freedom, and inner depth.

My art is an invitation to play — to respond intuitively, to explore states where passion in all its forms meets vulnerability and inner strength, leading to deep healing by engaging the viewer’s subconscious. I strive to create works that do more than portray an image — they awaken hidden feelings, desires, and memories, stir the inner player within the viewer, and ease the path toward finding one’s true self and purpose in this world.
