From primary school 
debate team to psa_professionalspeakersaust 

Today I want to celebrate an important win. I am so proud to say I’ve achieved Professional Membership status through PSA. 

Professional Membership is for Speakers who have a verified speaking income which exceeds a certain threshold in the last 12 months. 

It’s taken hard work, dedication, focus, commitment and self belief. And it would not be possible without my INCREDIBLE CLIENTS around the world who have hired me to Speak to your teams/ organisations, universities and networks. THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH🙏🏾

Being a Professional Speaker was my childhood dream (alongside being a Matilda but that didn’t work out☺️) 

I was the FIRST Speaker on our Primary School debate team. I remember meticulous rehearsing my speech for days before a debating competition. Bouncing around my bedroom using my hands and practicing stage craft. I would visualise entertaining (and convincing) the judges and audience. 

I let go of that dream for a long time until - In 2019 when launched my own Speaking, Coaching and Consulting business. 

What a ride it’s been! 

Today I am stopping to reflect, share and celebrate this achievement, which is such an important part of success. 

We must celebrate our wins🙌🏽

And in order to do this we must first push back, take control and/or conquer our #impostersyndrome because if we don’t, it will rob you of the joy of celebrating these wins and of believing you have earned them/ deserve them at all.
