In this case, I treated lipedema with high-volume, circumferential liposuction of the thighs to reduce the disproportionate fat distribution and improve overall leg contour. 

At 1 month, healing is still very much in progress—swelling, firmness, and unevenness can be normal, and the legs will continue to refine over the next months as the tissues soften and compression/aftercare does its work.
