Bones need to see stress to get stronger, which is why impact activities like jumping can be helpful for building bone density. Walking with a weighted vest just really hasn’t been shown to significantly impact bone density

🚨 If you're considering incorporated jumping into your workouts, doing a drop jump can be especially effective.

👉 A DROP JUMP involves stepping off a low platform (like a step, 8-16 inches), landing with a firm, controlled impact, and immediately springing into a vertical hop, creating two powerful force impacts to stimulate bone formation.

✅ Doing these 3 times a week with 20 to 30 jumps per session is a good start.

🔑 The key is the quick, high-rate force on landing, stimulating bone cells to build density. However, it must be done safely with proper form (soft knees, solid landing) to avoid injury, ideally under professional guidance.

😷 If you've been diagnosed with osteoporosis, be sure to check with your doctor before starting any jumping activities.
