The only thing I regret in this crazy journey is not believing in that baby girl more. Unfortunately, self-esteem is built in the first years of life up to about 7/8 years old. If you weren’t “built up” throughout your developing years you’ll have to work at reversing the damage. Aging gracefully or being ageless is about being free. Unlocking the prison that holds you back and keeps you wanting to change or conform to be something else.

I hear the term—“choose a lane”  like as if your skin, body, mind are separate from each other. The classic mistake is focusing on one thing and not the whole picture. If you’re not focusing on having a truly healthy diet + lifestyle and just think cosmetic work or products will be enough you’re doing skincare WRONG. Aging well, feeling good is a puzzle with a 360 approach.

And if you work with the face. You work with the intricacies of the entire anatomy. ALL it’s emotions, traumas and history (even ancestral) which at times will dictate your habits and lifestyle choices. In an exhausting industry that tends to emphasize perfection at every cost and the illusion of what “real beauty” is. I recognize and treat deeper issues underlying the aging face. Alot of clues lie deep within us to peel away + reveal our true vitality and youthful vigor. I can pay for a slimmer “perfect nose”  or my “youthful jawline” back— when I do the real work I’m perfectly happy looking natural and there are days when I look at my aging face + body and I’m not pleased. But that’s when I’m grumpy, or hangry and most critical. No one said aging was easy, you can change the focus :) I’m content with my choices at this point.
