What's so special about Sicilian pistachios? My Sicilian daddy said so😉

Their secret is in the soil. The Bronte pistachio, a Sicilian variety grown in the town of the same name are emerald beauties with deep-purple skins. Smaller, sweeter, and richer than other pistachios. Expensive but worth it if you can find them. .
Forget almonds get yourself pistachios. They are a good source of fiber, protein, magnesium and copper, vitamin E, folate, and healthy monounsaturated fats. They are the most melatonin-rich nut. Eating a handful of pistachios is like taking a melatonin supplement! 😴

They’re his (and mine) favorite he would sit and eat a whole bag then take a nap. I imagine him doing that now and tinkering away—fixing something (as he always did) in between his angel work. Then coffee, Sfogliatella, cannolis and a cigarette. I mentioned in my previous posts he’s been visiting in my dreams, but also in waking hours and all things Sicilian keep popping up. I smell his cigarettes and he came through in my last reading. I’m grateful to believe in the afterlife as I cherish this connection and guidance. Oh, I miss you so much! Happy Father’s Day Everyone!
