I had to jump on this trend 😆 I’m sure I have photos as a kid with a camera and probably a football, but I need to get ahold of and digitize them!

And yes that is a Tamagotchi hanging from my belt loop in slide 2 and I’m probably holding a poem I wrote 🤓 (age 9ish)

I think dorky young Kindell would think grown up Kindell turned out to be pretty cool. She was the biggest book and music nerd (I kept my beloved Sony Walkman and it still works!) and played kickball with the boys at recess and ran around the playground in sneakers and flowery cotton dresses and rompers. Reading classic novels for fun and playing drums with pencils on her schoolbooks. Daydreaming about traveling the world. I don’t think she’d have even dreamed possible some of things that have happened in the past 39 years. I do what I do for her and all of the other little girls like her - ANYTHING is possible and if you can see her you can be her ❤️
