ICYMI: The Toronto Maple Leafs updated that Auston Matthews will be OUT for the remainder of the 2025-26 season 👀

The Leafs captain sustained a Grade 3 MCL tear and quad contusion after a knee-on-knee hit from Anaheim Ducks defenseman Radko Gudas. 

The Bruins have Toronto’s first-round pick via the Brandon Carlo trade where they received Fraser Minten a 2025 4th round pick (D Vashek Blanar) and the pick in discussion, which is currently top-five protected. The Leafs currently sit in the bottom ten of the NHL standings and therefore, are in contention to regain their draft pick traded to Boston a year ago 👀
