What if the source is the jaw?

Many tinnitus cases may have a temporomandibular component.
The TMJ is anatomically close to the ear and shares important neurological connections with the auditory system.

If the sound changes with clenching, jaw movement, or muscle pressure… pay attention.
That could be somatosensory tinnitus.
