In a world saturated with news that perpetuates a bleak view of humanity, “Human Kind” aims to change the narrative by showcasing the transformative power of kindness.

 We are so delighted to share that “Human Kind” is a Semi-Finalist for the stowestorylabs Labs Accelerator Fellowship 2025. 

Inspired by Naomi Shihab Nye’s words “Before you know what kindness really is you must lose things”, this series celebrates extraordinary women whose lives have been changed by acts of kindness. 

Episode 1, Luscus, a screen  adaptation  of  the award winning  memoir of writer,  boylemo1961 Maureen Boyle, tells the moving story of a young girl’s loss and healing, thanks to the  kindness of an ocularist. 

We are partnering with the very talented producer/ director lisa_servic3  to bring this moving story to the screen. Huge thanks to stowestorylabs , whose mission is to support emerging writers and filmmakers with outstanding stories and help them gain the tools to bring their work to life.
