From my background in Fine Arts and Artistic Photography, I wanted to explore skateboarding not just as a sport, but as a form of finding your own space... To meditate. I wanted to capture the personal moment of peace that Jaco found while skating. We filmed how he would get into his own world, putting on music finding a moment of clarity and a personal peace away from daily life. He was the perfect person to embody this vision with his incredible passion and skill for skateboarding. Created with a small crew and limited equipment, but a lot of heart πŸ’™ I have also uploaded the making off video, which is crazy funny to see after all these years.
