Circles appear everywhere in nature — from swirling honeybee dances to round animal nests. To celebrate Pi Day, here are 3.14 animals that create their own circles.
 
1. 🦅 Bald eagles
Build massive circular nests that can reach up to six feet across.

2. 🐺 Wolves
Dig round depressions in dirt or snow where they curl up to rest.

3. 🦬 Bison
Use their powerful heads like plows when foraging. The Detroit Zoo herd receives round enrichment so they can express this natural behavior.

.14 🦍 Baby Motema
She may be small, but she’s already practicing nest-building by encircling herself in wood wool — just like gorillas do in the wild.
