At 11 years old Breanna Stewart walked into her mother’s bedroom, & told her that her neighbor, “touched (her) down there”. She can’t remember what was going through her mind at the time, but she just wanted to be able to sleep. She just got up & did it. So many victims are criticized, shamed, and even blamed for what their abusers did them. It takes incredible resolve to just do it.
