## Caption

This family of barred owls have such a special place in my heart. I spent 5 days earlier this summer observing, filming, and photographing these 4 owlets and their parents. These clips represent not only one of my top wildlife encounters ever, but also self discovery and growth. I spent time with these owls on my first solo trip and it was honestly one of the best weeks of my life. I learned so much about myself, how capable I am, and my confidence went up so much. I also met some incredible humans that quickly became some of my best pals ( jbucketslist + jsmeltphoto ) and shared some unreal owl encounters with them. Sorry this is kind of a ramble… I’m still learning how to open up and get my thoughts into words😅
Anyways, here’s a little tribute to some of my favorite memories, with some awesome people, in beautiful Maine. Hope yall enjoy 🫶🏻
