Here’s a look at the scenes, smiles and support on what was the conclusion of another great GAMBIT night.

It included the auctioning off of exclusive dinners prepared by trained chef and CHS Director of Campus Ministry Fr. Chuck Frederico, S.J.

GAMBIT 51 would not have been possible without the great work of so many in our outstanding CHS community, from volunteers, sponsors, gift donors and contributors.

The stirring Saturday evening concluded with the hundreds in the Bernard J. Kennedy ’49 Field House hearing students’ stories and then raising their paddles for the GAMBIT 51 Father C. Canisius Cares Fund, which provides much-needed assistance to our students.

Raise your paddle in support of the GAMBIT 51 Father C. Canisius Cares Fund by visiting canisiushigh.org/raisemypaddle

Go to canisiushigh.org/gambit for even more great photos from a great GAMBIT 51.

See also our previous video and photo posts – canisiushigh.org/gambit also has nearly 100 photos from our Smiles at GAMBIT 50 gallery.

We are most grateful to our GAMBIT 51 Co-Chairs for their leadership and dedication to this year’s golden celebration: Michelle and Ron Benczkowski (parents of Luke ’22 and Zach ’26); Marty ’96 and Rita Boryszak (parents of Luke ’26); Dr. Katherine Gambacorta and Dr. Peter Gambacorta (parents of Peter ’26); Rebecca Diina LaCivita and Dr. Michael LaCivita (parents of Michael ’24 and William ’26).

Marty Boryszak ’96 delivered a speech thanking many – including CHS Director of Special Events Kelly Wilkens and GAMBIT Associate Director Allison Stravino – in the Bernard J. Kennedy ’49 Field House, where a great dinner and tremendous auction followed.

More memorable moments from the big night are on the way tomorrow.
