Love it or leave it: Hydrocortisone.

One of the most common creams in your medicine cabinet — but it’s not right for everything.

✔️ Love it:
• Red, itchy rashes
• Insect bites
• Mild eczema flares
• Early sunburn

⚠️ Use caution:
• Fungal infections (can make them spread)
• Acne (only very short term)

❌ Leave it:
• Rosacea
• Perioral dermatitis
• Possible bacterial infections like staph

Hydrocortisone is great when you use it for the right problem… and a disaster when you don’t.
