Morning everyone! I think this is possibly my favourite upcycle, or maybe furniture reuse(?) ever! 

A friend sent us photos of an old ‘wooden’ wardrobe, chest of drawers etc that she was getting rid of and wondered if we’d like them for the thelittlewildfarm. 

Of course we leapt at the offer and I thought I could maybe restore them, paint them up, whatever. 

But when they arrived, to our horror we realized they were actually cheap looking laminated MDF with extra PIXELATED wood patterns on them! Lol

But they were big and heavy to take somewhere else, so we’ve gradually taken them apart and reused them round the farm - for floorboarding, plant bed re-enforcement AND to make the cladding for our new cupboard in the living room! 

I decided to see if I could do the whole thing without spending a single penny, so I only used stuff we already had to make it, including paint tester pots, wallpaper lining paper etc. 

And I have to say, I’m pretty thrilled with the result.
