The Audi A8 is officially coming to an end, marking the close of a 32-year run as Audi’s flagship sedan.

First launched in 1994, the A8 replaced the Audi V8 and immediately stood out with its aluminum space frame construction, something that gave it a serious weight advantage over rivals like the Mercedes-Benz S-Class and BMW 7 Series.

Over the years, the A8 evolved into a tech showcase for Audi, introducing features like Quattro all-wheel drive in the luxury segment, advanced driver assistance systems, and some of the cleanest, most understated interior designs in the class.
