For years I did everything right.

Every appointment. 
Every strategy. 
Every piece of advice from every professional who was supposed to know better than me.

And the more I followed it, the more days she missed.

Nobody told me that the problem wasn’t my effort. 
It was the approach. 
That what looked like defiance was a nervous system in survival mode - and that no amount of pushing was ever going to override that.

The day I stopped trying to force her through the door and started understanding what was actually happening in her body - everything began to change.

She graduated. 
First choice university.
