There is a moment when a dancer begins to create, not just perform, and the Student Choreography Workshop (SCW) lives in that shift. Under the mentorship of Artistic Director At-Large Angelica Stiskin angelicastiskin, our Trainees step into a fully produced choreography lab, taking on the roles of choreographers, cast members, rehearsal directors, and stagehands. Through months of development, panel feedback, and process from October through April, each work evolves from an idea into something fully realized, shaped by risk, collaboration, and a deep commitment to their own artistic voice.⁠
