Crostini really are the easiest appy/snack & also always a crowd pleaser

This grilled salty squeaky halloumi combined with in season persimmon, pomegranate & peppery arugula is (fancy) crostini perfection & just what your next holiday party or dinner at home needs

Directions//
—Slice fresh baguette, cover in EVOO and bake at 375 until golden brown 
—Make thin slices of the halloumi and pan sear on medium low until golden brown 
—Arugula: toss with lemon juice and EVOO 
—Top each crostini with a pile of arugula, warm halloumi slice and persimmon slice
— drizzle on a healthy amount of honey and finish off with Pom arils and chopped pistachios
—For an extra flavor kick sprinkle on sumac or Aleppo pepper (game changer!)
