The thing that gets me about centering cars in cities is that EVERYONE is a pedestrian at some point in their journey or commute, everyone is not a driver. Cities should reconsider how they use the spaces that they have. Closing streets to vehicular traffic, even if only temporarily, has many benefits - socially, economically, etc!
