Every year, @10best does a ranking of the best public squares in the United States. To narrow down to just these 10 spaces, an expert panel nominated 20 public squares (based on aesthetics, historical significance, communal importance, etc) and then those were voted on by the public. So I wouldn't consider this methodology to be "perfect science" by any means, but still a fun list to see! ✨
