I never shy away from a solo weekend trip, but my favorite trips are ones my partner and I are able to coordinate our time off of work to take together. ✈️ 

Here are some of my favorite U.S. destinations for couples to visit on weekend travels. 

1. Chicago
With a variety of food options and gorgeous views of Lake Michigan, there are a ton of ways for couples to explore the city.

2. New York City
What’s not romantic about NYC? Picnic at Central Park? Variety of food options? A beautiful skyline? There’s so many romantic things to see and do in the city.

3. Savannah, Georgia
With an amazing foodie scene and scenic Spanish moss trees, Savannah is the perfect location for a couples relaxing weekend.

4. Traverse City, Michigan
Wine tastings anyone? Traverse City is the perfect couples spot for a weekend of wine, waves, and resetting.

5. Hood River, Oregon
Hood River is such a charming city. With views of Mt. Hood and home to the waterfalls of the Columbia River Gorge, this area is surrounded by natural beauty.
