This is the reality of sledding the dunes at White Sands National Park! 

It’s expensive AND difficult. 

If you buy a sled at the park, it’s nearly $20. To buy a used sled at the park, it’s around $10. BUT the used sleds go quickly and won’t be available on a busy day. 

What’s the key to making it down the hill successfully? 100% buy the sledding wax! 

I was cheap and skipped out on the wax. I never successfully made it down a dune! 🤣
