1. Hike White Sands National Park 🥾 
You must see these sand dunes made up of gypsum crystals. It feels like another planet! The view is so picturesque. We hiked Backcountry Camping Trail while visiting. This 2 mile hike is moderate in difficulty. 

2. Golf in Albuquerque 
If you, or someone you’re traveling with, is a golfer, you have to golf a round in Albuquerque. The views are breathtaking. 📌 Sandia Golf Club

3. Visit a natural hot spring
This was my favorite thing we did on our trip to NM! We hiked the 0.7 mile out-and-back trail to Spence Hot Spring and relaxed in the spring as it snowed around us. 

4. Explore Carlsbad Caverns National Park 
I wasn’t able to make it to Carlsbad Caverns National Park, but I’ll be back to New Mexico to explore it! Visitors rave about hiking these caverns.

5. Experience the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta
This year the fiesta is celebrating 50 years! Tickets went on sale April 1 for this October 1-9 event.
