State Department of Health officials, Nassau police and Nassau health officials intercepted an estimated 14 tons of illegal vaping products intended for local distributors and smoke shops, state health officials said.

Officials with the state Health Department’s Bureau of Investigations said the wholesale distributor, one of the largest vaping and e-cigarette distributors in the country, could face criminal charges. The company is accused of violating state laws on the shipping of cigarettes and vapor products.
