LIONS SWEEP ASIDE LANCERS: The jserra.beachvolleyball team made it back-to-back victories to open Trinity League action on Wednesday, as the Lions defeated the Orange Lutheran Lancers by a score of 5-0 at Irvine Valley College in Irvine.

JSerra is now 11-2 overall on the season.

Seniors Sara Moynihan and Presley Johnson turned in wins of 21-9 and 21-10, senior Skylar Noble and sophomore Ava Champagne recorded victories of 21-16 and 21-12, senior Catherine Beadles and junior Berit Brinkema produced triumphs 21-17 and 21-9, juniors Lyla Gerstenberger and Sarah Thorp supplied wins of 21-16 and 21-10, and senior Charlotte Nowak and junior Hollie Hooper secured dual wins of 21-4 and 21-4 to highlight the Lions sweep.
