"Growing up, I never knew where I fit in. I was born in Japan and grew up partly there, partly in Hawaii and party in Italy, while my dad grew up in Kenya and my mom, Japan. I also have a little sister who was born in Hawaii.

Because of this, I used to struggle with figuring out who I am. Everywhere I lived I would get stares or off-putting remarks because of my races. I never knew if I was more Asian, White or just something else. Until I decided that I’m just me.

I’m a creator, director, dancer, artist, athlete, photographer and so much more. I’m just a human being like everyone else. It wasn’t until I stopped caring what other people thought of me that I truly accepted myself for who I am and started living life on my own terms."
