Taylor Frankie Paul’s ‘Bachelorette’ era is over before it even began.

Paul is speaking out after ABC pulled her already-filmed season of ‘The Bachelorette’ just days before its March 22 premiere, following the release of a 2023 video involving her ex Dakota Mortensen.

“In light of the newly released video just surfaced today, we have made the decision to not move forward with the new season of ‘The Bachelorette’ at this time, and our focus is on supporting the family,” a Disney Entertainment Television spokesperson said.

Through her rep, Taylor shared, “Taylor is very grateful for ABC’s support as she prioritizes her family’s safety and security. After years of silently suffering extensive mental and physical abuse as well as threats of retaliation, Taylor is finally gaining the strength to face her accuser...”

Addressing the resurfaced footage, her spokesperson added, “It’s sad to see the latest installment of his never-ending, desperate, attention-seeking, destructive campaign to harm Taylor without any regard for the consequences for their child.”

The video shows Taylor throwing a chair at Mortensen in the presence of her daughter, Indy, while a 2023 indictment alleged she threw “heavy, metal chairs” that struck her child.

Police have confirmed an ongoing investigation with “allegations… in both directions,” while ‘The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives’ has also paused production.
