Two weeks ago, we partnered with OurMilitaryKids to host a day of outdoor adventure at MissionsNPS for military families in the San Antonio area. 🚴

Participating National Guard and Reserve families learned about the park’s history from a ranger and explored its historic grounds and landscapes on foot and by e-bike. The kids got hands-on while learning about the acequia, the centuries-old irrigation system that once watered mission farmland and still operates today.

By the end of the trip, families had covered nearly ten miles. We are honored to create opportunities for our heroes and their loved ones to connect with the outdoors and with each other.
