#Tirokafteri (loosely translated: “flaming cheese”) is a classic Greek offering. So, naturally, we commissioned a well-established Greek supplier when it came time to create our very own version…

TJ’s take on Tirokafteri starts with a trifecta of traditional Greek cheeses: feta, Anthotyros, and a simple white cheese. Our supplier blends the three cheeses together, then adds brined Florina peppers to lend the Spread some subtle sweetness & a bit of welcome heat. 🌶️

Our tangy Tirokafteri is a terrific addition to snacks, sides, and entrees of all sorts. Spread it on our Fig & Olive Crisps. Scoop it up with Pita Chips. Slather it on a bagel or TJ’s Middle Eastern Flatbreads, then pile on the roasted veggies as we’ve done above. A toast — to Tirokafteri!
