The soccer icon recently returned to Fernie, one of his all-time favourite getaways, and this visit hit even deeper than usual. While staying at Island Lake Lodge, Beckham shared just how much the mountain escape means to him.⁣

“Every year I try to take four days in the mountains in Fernie, British Columbia, one of my favourite places to be,” he wrote on Instagram, also thanking the lodge for making his stay extra special.⁣

And in true Beckham fashion, he kept it humble: “I promise I’m not going as slow as my video looks.”⁣
