We had fun in the sun in Jupiter, FL hosting our Cause For Alarm Home Safety Event at The Home Depot with iHeartMedia. The community came out to refresh their fire and carbon monoxide (CO) safety skills with activities like signing the Cause For Alarm Safety Pledge at the Kidde booth, meeting fire and CO safety experts, getting a fire hat at the Palm Beach County Fire Rescue booth, winning cool shades at the iHeartMedia booth, and trying out the best seat inside a real fire truck from Palm Beach County Fire Rescue Station 19! Our partners at the NFPA and American Red Cross joined to help share valuable fire safety education materials, too. We also donated Kidde smoke and CO alarms, valued at nearly $300K, to local fire departments.
