Have you ever seen a bird dance while it eats? 👀

We spotted another American woodcock, this time during the day! It was bobbing around a vernal pool while probing the mud for 🪱.

Scientists think that little bounce might help stir worms underground… or help the bird blend in with swaying plants while it forages.

Either way, we get it. Snack time makes us want to dance too 🕺
