Aston Martin on POLE at Sebring!

Dudu Barrichello’s stunning lap in the Heart of Racing Team Vantage GT3 ensured the squad’s second consecutive IMSA GTD class pole position, following teammate Zach Robichon’s similar feat at Daytona.

Dudu’s achievement marks the first time that Aston Martin has begun an IMSA season with back-to-back pole positions. It’s also the first ever Sebring pole for Vantage - Aston Martin’s most successful racing car. 

It’s 20 years since Aston Martin was last on pole position at Sebring… on that occasion, in 2006, Stéphane Sarrazin, Pedro Lamy and Jason Bright went on to win the GT1 class with the legendary Aston Martin DBR9!
