Nowruz — meaning “new day” — marks the Persian New Year, celebrated for over 3,000 years at the exact moment of the spring equinox, symbolizing rebirth, renewal, and hope 

But Nowruz is more than just a celebration…
It’s a reminder that even after the darkest winters, light always returns.

Iran — once one of the oldest and richest civilizations in the world — has a history rooted in art, poetry, science, and powerful women who shaped culture and life.

Yet for decades, many Iranian women have lived under restrictions that limit their freedom — from how they dress, to how they express themselves, to how they exist in their own bodies.

And still… they rise.🫶🏼✨

Women in Iran have become the symbol of courage — fighting not just for rights, but for something deeper: 

✨ the freedom to feel good in their own skin
✨ the freedom to exist without fear
✨ the freedom to simply be
