Security footage captured the moment the woman stepped away from her parked vehicle outside an after-school center to collect her seven-year-old daughter – only for an opportunist thief to jump in and speed off with her infant son in the back seat.⁣

Police located the car just 2.7km away. The baby was rescued unharmed. Bystanders detained the 26-year-old suspect until officers arrived to make the arrest.⁣
