A three-month-old southern white rhino calf and two four-month-old reticulated giraffe calves took their first steps outside on Thursday at the UK’s Whipsnade Zoo.⁣

With about 10,000 southern white rhinos and 11,000 reticulated giraffes left in the wild, the zoo said all three calves will join conservation breeding programmes for their species.⁣
