A photograph taken inside Antelope Canyon was once announced as the most expensive ever sold.

In 2014, photographer Peter Lik revealed that his black and white image Phantom sold in a private sale for $6.5 million. Because the transaction was private it was never independently verified, but it quickly became one of the most talked about photographs in history.

Not bad for a shot captured in the Arizona desert. 🌵📸✨
