We absolutely love that we got to experience and learn all about Korea from the mother of k-beauty herself, @Charlotte Cho. When Charlotte originally brought it to the USA with @sokoglam, also the founder of @Then I Met You, at @OLIVE YOUNG Global ✨ Part of being in Korea and being with Charlotte, was seeing Korea though her eyes so I can understand k-beauty more deeply. I remember shopping sokoglam when I first met Christina in 2014. So for me to learn from the woman who created sokoglam the mother of k-beauty hersel, was such a full circle moment… especially as someone who loves to learn and loves beauty.  Charlotte really pioneered wave 1.0 of k-beauty in the US, when everything was rooted in skincare first. She literally found the Korean 10-step skincare routine phrase!  Then came wave 2.0, where that same skincare philosophy evolved. Formulas got smarter and formats got more innovative. Think going from sheet masks to toner pads. Everything felt more elevated and easier to use! And soon, we’re stepping into what feels like wave 3.0: color cosmetics. This is where things get really interesting because the question isn’t just what’s next for k-beauty, it’s whether k-beauty color is truly ready to meet the expectations of the US market.
