If you’re visiting Edinburgh, you need to take a trip to the Isle of Skye! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

However, most people actually take the wrong route, you want to take the Glen Coe road instead.

While it’s slightly longer, it is truly magical. This is the stretch of the Scottish Highlands where scenes from Skyfall, Mary Queen of Scots, Harry Potter, Braveheart and Outlaw King were filmed, with dramatic mountains, moody skies and endless Highland scenery.

From Rannoch Moor to Fort William, you can even stop at the Glenfinnan Viaduct, the train bridge from Harry Potter!

This isn’t just any drive to Skye, this is one of the most cinematic road trips in Scotland, and you’ve experienced all of this before you even explored Skye itself...
