Right now, 1 in 4 people lack access to clean water. Without it, waterborne diseases spread rapidly, making it nearly impossible for a child’s body to absorb the nutrients they need to grow strong. 

This World Water Day, we’re reminded that clean water is the foundation of health. 

When we protect water, we protect futures. From #Lebanon to #Kenya to #Pakistan, we are on the ground providing life-saving water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) support including: 

Restoring damaged water systems 
Installing storage tanks and reservoirs 
Distributing emergency hygiene kits 
Building handwashing stations 
Water sampling 

Clean water is the foundation of a world without hunger.
